The Mississippi Teacher Center operates a job placement service that maintains a database of prospective teachers/administrators and district job vacancies. The goal of the placement services is to provide Mississippi school districts with a pool of certified prospective teachers. The updated vacancy list is provided monthly to prospective teachers who have registered with the placement service. Mississippi school district personnel are encouraged to report current vacancies to us each month.
Mississippi Career Fair for Educators
This is an annual teacher recruitment event where prospective teachers meet district personnel to fill vacancies in Mississippi school districts. The Mississippi Career Fair for Educators is traditionally held in the spring at the Mississippi Trade Mart - Fairgrounds in Jackson.
