How do I register for the Praxis Examinations?
Admission to the program requires the Praxis scores
noted above. Praxis test dates, registration, and other
information are available on line at www.ets.org/praxis/prxreg.html
. Mississippi specific tests, required scores, and
Test-at-a-Glance preparation materials are also available
at www.ets.org/praxis/prxms.html
. Praxis I tests may NOT be taken at the same administration
as the Praxis II test (time does not permit). The testing
company states that Praxis II scores are mailed approximately
four weeks after the test date; two to three weeks for
the computer-based Praxis I. The Praxis II test MUST
be taken so that the official scores will arrive in
our office no later than the application deadline for
the component you are applying. For the Fall 2008 session, application packets must be in our office by October 4, 2008. Please contact ETS for more specific
information on the dates Praxis exams are offered.
